Huawei and Chery are uniting their prowess to bring us the new Luxeed EV. This innovative electric model is the fruit of collaboration between two companies with impressive track records, boasting exciting features such as the Huawei HarmonyOS 4 software and ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system.
The EH3, as it's known, has been unveiled on social media, with hopes of making its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 25. Based on information from Car News China, the EH3 will offer more affordability than the Tesla Model 3, given its starting price of $27,803.
The exclusive photo of the EV was released on Weibo by the current CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU department, Yu Chengdong.
Visually, the car sports a premium finish, muscular rear shoulders, and modern styling cues like the slim full-width LED bar at the front that adopts a grille-less look. Regarding safety, the vehicle comes equipped with the new Huawei ADS 2.0 smart driving system, offering myriad possibilities, including 3-millimeter-wave radars for advanced autonomous driving capabilities.
From what we understand, the Luxeed will utilize the E0X architecture, which is also slated for use in the ET premium and Chery Exeed Sterra ES. The project employs CATL batteries, endowing the vehicle with nearly 700 km of range and dual electric motors.
