Honda Air Concept - see how look car of the future!
by AllAutoExperts | 3 November, 2015
This concept car has been created especially for the LA Design Challenge. It comes as a presentation of the future ultra-light cars, with alternative energy sources.
This car has been inspired by the so popular roller coasters and wingsuits of the skydivers.
The system powering the concept is charged by compressed air, helped by a system with a pneumatic regulator. All these little hacks manage to reduce the car's total weight to as little as 800 lb.
The external airflow features along with the special turbo vacuums increase the car's capacity of autonomic driving, reaching 100 miles.
All of the concept's details, like seats or tank, are fixed directly in the chassis, so that the additional structures are taken off the equation and do not burden the car with extra weight.
And since we are talking about a pretty futuristic car, its body includes vegetable sourced polymer details. Most of the car's design is aimed towards reducing weight and getting rid of unnecessary details. For example, a hubless wheel or glass-reinforced seating panels help achieve that goal.
The car can be charged through a simple method, with the help of an air compressor or generator.
