Heated Headlight System: The New Definition of Future Safety
by AutoExpert | 12 November, 2020
Now it’s time for heated headlamps folks. The German material science company, Canatu, came with a concept for heated headlamps.
The LED lights don’t produce a great deal of heat, on a snow and ice road it accumulates on the surface, limiting the driver’s visibility. On autonomous driving facilities this Is a real issue.
Just like headlamps the sensors used for assisted driving systems like adaptive cruise control can freeze up and stop working. Canatu found a clever solution - a film that goes over the headlights and clears away any winter debris.
And just like that, the future of automotive technology is again much safer.
