Goodbye, plastics, welcome, leather: Camaro ZL1, with Carlex Design interior
by AllAutoExperts | 15 October, 2015
The quality of the interior materials isn't exactly the strong point of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, the American muscle car impressing more with its technical performances rather than its plastics.
Having officially been presented at the end of 2011, the ZL1 version of the previous Chevrolet Camaro managed to surprise the entire planet.
And it isn't surprising, since the technical data of the American muscle car bring into the highlight a turbocharged unit with 8 cylinders and a 6.2 liters capacity.
Therefore, thanks to the 580 hp and 753 Nm, the first 100 km/h are reached in less than 4 seconds, with a magical maximum of 285 km/h.
Moreover, in spite of the American cars jokes, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 handles the twisty roads pretty honorably, the 7.41 minutes result reached in Nurburgring representing the supreme proof of it.
We cannot complain about the exterior design, as well, the only problem of the muscle car from across the Ocean being the doubtful quality of the interior materials.
The problem solution came from Carlex Design, who got their hands on one of the models who got to the Old Continent.
The solution preferred by the famous Polish tuning company comes in a black and yellow combination, which reminds us of the famous character from Transformers Bumblebee.
But it is not the colors that are important, but the fact that the entire cockpit of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 welcomes us with superior quality leather, delivered along with contrasting seams and Alcantara accents.
The sparkling black elements on the board and the door faces complete the entire image of the American muscle car, with an A grade.
