Just when you thought Gordon Murray, the South African engineering legend, might be taking a breather after the official launch of the GMA T.50 supercar, he unveils plans for more. The third version, known as the T.33, is on the way and is designed for those with a passion for track driving.

Here's What We Know About the T.33 Version:

  • A Focused Design: According to Murray, the T.33 will be more focused than the standard coupe, boasting a sharper, more downforce-oriented design. It will appeal to those eager to drive the car on the track or those who simply enjoy a more specialized vehicle.

T.33 Version

  • Enhanced Features for the Track: While Murray has been somewhat secretive about specific features, the new T.33 is expected to have optimized brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain specifically tailored for track use. Notably, the car will still be fully road-legal.

  • Unique Aero Touches: Murray himself mentioned that all T.33 versions would include unique aerodynamic features, such as fixed wings.

T.33 Version

  • Exclusivity Guaranteed: GMA plans to produce no more than 100 units of the T.33, with Murray contemplating selling only 50 specifically for track use. Customer interest will be gauged before finalizing these numbers.

  • Impressive Power: Like other T.33 models, the "s" derivative will feature a 4.0-liter V12 engine coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, capable of producing over 600 HP at a stunning 10,500 rpm, with potential to exceed 11,100 rpm.

T.33 Version

  • Stay Tuned for More: The possibility of additional power, a focus on dynamics, or weight savings is still on the table. Expect further tantalizing details to emerge soon.

  • A New Opportunity for Customers: Since both the T.33 and T.33 Spider are sold out, the new T.33 presents a fresh opportunity for enthusiasts. Though likely more expensive, such price considerations rarely deter the segment of customers this supercar targets.

  • More from GMA: In related news, Gordon Murray Automotive recently showcased the T.50 Niki Lauda at Monterey Car Week. Still in development, the naturally aspirated V12 engine now produces an astounding 762 HP.

T.33 Version

Sooooo....

The new T.33 version showcases Gordon Murray's relentless pursuit of engineering excellence and innovation. This limited-edition model, tailored for track enthusiasts, underscores the brand's commitment to delivering specialized and mouth-watering cars.
