Geely's Zeekr 7X High-Performance Electric SUV Hits The Market
by AutoExpert | 16 July, 2024
In order to compete with the popular Tesla Model Y, Geely's Zeekr is launching the all-new 7X. Preliminary data indicates that the SUV will come with two battery pack options: a 75 kWh LFP and a 100 kWh ternary NMC.
The base model, with rear-wheel drive and any battery pack, produces 416 horsepower, while the top-of-the-line dual-motor version has 637 horsepower. With dimensions of 4,825 mm (189.9 in) in length, 1,930 mm (75.9 in) in width, 1,666 mm (65.5 in) in height, and a 2,925 mm (115.1 in) wheelbase, the 7X is 75 mm (2.9 in) longer than a Model Y.
Air suspension and a variety of wheel types in 19- and 20-inch sizes will be available on the upcoming electric SUV, the 7X, while many other specifics are still up in the air. Additionally, buyers may have the option to install a high-tech LiDAR sensor.
The Zeekr 7X is visually similar to the company's electric minivan, the Mix. Among these features is an arrangement of LED headlights reminiscent of the 007 sedan, along with the company's clever 'Stargate' front LED scree. Looking back, the 7X features a black bumper and a full-width LED light bar.
Depending on the specifications, the Zeekr 7X weighs anything from 5,066 lbs to 5,456 lbs. Sadly, we don't yet have any information on the 7X's range.
