Ford Taurus Receives A Major Facelift For The Middle East Market
by AutoExpert | 27 April, 2022
Ford Taurus was introduced in 1986 and quickly became the best-selling passenger automobile in America. The 2023 Taurus, on the other hand, will be limited to areas outside of the United States, with sales in the Middle East set to commence later this year.
Inside, you'll find a simple digital cockpit with an 8-inch instrument display and a 13.2-inch center screen. Driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system, and blind-spot monitoring are offered, as well as a panoramic roof and wireless charging.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included. Externally, the Ford Taurus's design is similar to the Mondeo's, but it has a more modern look with thin headlamps. There are tiny three-bar taillights on the rear that have a strange similarity to Mustang taillights.
A single LED strip crossing the decklid connects the lights. Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost motor is mated to an eight-speed automated gearbox under the hood. Moreover, Ford claims that the updated Taurus has been rigorously tested to ensure that it can withstand the heat of the Middle East.
