Ford Launches Long-Wheelbase And Active Versions Of Transit Custom Nugget Camper

Ford is expanding its Transit Custom Nugget camper range with new long-wheelbase and rugged versions. These updated campers build on the existing Titanium model with a fresh grille design, black plastic rocker panels, black exterior cladding, unique 17-inch machined alloy wheels, and LED taillights.
Durable, weather-resistant fabric covers the seats inside. A large touchscreen lets you control and monitor key features like lighting, temperature, and water levels.
The Driver Assistance Pack adds safety technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information System, Reverse Brake Assist, and Pre-Collision Assist. For those interested in the Transit Custom Nugget Active, there’s an option for an entry-level 168 hp EcoBlue diesel engine with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Both the Titanium and Active models are available in a long-wheelbase version, offering extra space. The extended wheelbase means a larger kitchen area with more counter space, additional storage for pots and pans, and a bigger built-in closet.
The long-wheelbase model also includes heated, swivel front seats, similar to the standard version. In the lineup, the plug-in hybrid sits above the diesel engine. It boasts 230 horsepower from a hybrid electric motor, a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine, and an 11.8 kWh battery pack.
