For the SEMA show, Ford is prepping a 1978 F-100 that has been outfitted with the company's new electric motor. Ford intends to demonstrate its Ford Performance electric drive, which can be purchased by any client for $3,900 and can be fitted in practically any automobile, regardless of its body design or year of manufacture.
The electric motor in the M-9000-MACHE is comparable to the one in the Mustang Mach-E GT. 285 hp and 430 Nm of torque are provided by the transversely mounted engine. According to Ford, all the U.S. states have given the electric motor the go-ahead to be utilized on public roadways, thus the change is completely legal.
Ford F-100 Eluminator is fitted with two such units, one for each axle, just as the production Mustang Mach-E GT. Total power and torque are now 488 hp and 859 Nm. MLe Racecars and the Roadster Shop collaborated to develop and build the pickup truck, which is based on a special chassis created by Ford Performance experts.
Cerakote Copper highlights and 19-inch Forgeline modular wheels are included in the vehicle's Avalanche Gray paint scheme. The dashboard is milled from a single piece of aluminum, and there are several aluminum embellishments throughout.
The digital instrument cluster and the vertically positioned tablet infotainment system are also mentioned. Seats, steering wheel, and door panels are all leather-wrapped for a luxurious feel inside this Ford.
