SEAT, one of the few car companies that develop its own in-house cars. This time they teased ahead of the official debut on April 15, the Ibiza and Arona models. Founded 70 years ago, the Spanish car manufacturer, the company has always been accustomed to times and is always moving towards tech development.
The Ibiza and Arona models had been updated to adopt the newly designed front fascia and the Spanish automaker wants to bring them in line and follow the concept of the "revolution in the interior". These specific models will also have a new infotainment system with a larger touchscreen display, and a digital instrument cluster.
The images show a new front-end treatment for the Arona with a new front bumper along with a pair of circular fog lights situated under the regular headlights which remind of the original Skoda Yeti. Meanwhile, the facelift of both models will adopt the new-style center-mounted badges for their names in the handwritten font but in Spanish.
All of the SEAT Ibiza generations, five in total, will mark the brand's success and should reach the 6 million vehicles sold, while the SEAT Arona got last year the " second most sold SEAT", according to Wayne Griffiths, President of SEAT and Cupra. Focusing on both updating and upgrading the Ibiza and Acura models offered a complete refresh to the cars' design.
