Expect To Pay Less Than $30,000 For The New Fiat Panda

Fiat CEO Olivier Francois has hinted at the company's plans to launch an all-electric Panda priced under $30,000. He speculated that the new model will be released in July 2024, with a starting price of roughly $27,000.
Francois stressed the growing need for more inexpensive electric vehicles in an interview with Automotive News Europe.
He also stated that the impending next-generation Panda and the new Citroen e-C3 will work together. This possible synergy is most likely related to the development of the STLA Small Platform, which is planned to replace the present electric Common Modular Platform.
While the all-electric Panda's arrival in the United States remains questionable, Fiat appears optimistic about the prospects of compact electric vehicles in the American market. Fiat is preparing the Fiat 500e for the US market, with a target debut date of 2024 and a price tag of roughly $35,000.
Fiat is aiming for a starting price of less than €25,000 ($27,000) in the European market. This Panda EV version will include key amenities and a city driving range of 160 miles.
Fiat's approach also includes attracting customers who have converted to lower-priced EVs imported from China, where major European brands face intense competition from more affordable options. As the automotive industry electrifies, Fiat is positioning itself to capitalize on the growing demand for affordable and practical electric transportation.
