Elegant, Yet Sporty Japanese Makeover For BMW X7
by AutoExpert | 30 July, 2021
While there are many controversial discussions about BMW X7 and the upcoming 2022 facelifted model, a Japanese tuner named Wald takes things into its hand and restyles the X7, guiding it in a completely different direction.
With bolder and sportier looks, the new kit is named Wald Sports Line and, obviously, comes with many sporty details.
For starters, the front of the car gets new LED headlights integrated into the new splitter. The astonishing fascia’s design continues on the sides with new wider skirts and rounds things up at the rear with a new bumper, wider diffuser, and a mesh grille. The standard 21-inch wheels got replaced with 24-inch ones.
The Wald Sports Line kit is available both on the M50i and diesel 35dM, the latter not being sold in the USA. The American M50i delivers 553 lb-ft of torque and 523 hp, coming out a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
A respectful alternative to this kit, in terms of performance, is Alpina XB7, which provides a special upgrade with 612 hp and 590 lb-ft.
