Covid-19 Is Severely Affecting Toyota’s Production

Pandemic has had its saying in most economy aspects, the automotive one being no exception. This time it is Toyota the affected one, having announced the necessity to reduce its global production by 40%.

14 factories from Japan and 27 out of the 28 production lines, including the ones producing RAV4, Harrier, Corrola, Camry, Prius, and Lexus are included in the list of affected facilities. 

Toyota was planning to roll out 900.000 cars in September worldwide but the plans will now significantly change.
