The new generation Peugeot 308 will debut on March 18 and it’s not just a new car. It brings new technologies, new engines, and a rebranded logo. The spy photos from the test drive revealed the hatchback and wagon versions. How about a better view of the exterior design duet to the new renderings?
The photos reveal a new design bumper with extending LED lighting, headlights with the brand’s distinctive three-stripe look positioned around a massive radiator grille. The rear-end of the car it’s easier to see also a new bumper design and an aggressive diffuser.
The Peugeot 308 will be based on a developed Peugeot’s EMP2 platform and this specific model will also have a PEV powertrain to ensure a range of up to 225 hp. The rumors say that the next off-road inspired by the new-gen 308, will be a fair rival for the Ford Focus Active.
The new brand’s logo marks the brand’s move bold move upmarket, focusing on the head, and bears a prominent resemblance to the one that appeared on the logo change in 1960. We’re sure it’ll look firie on a 308 new-generation Peugeot.
