Chevrolet is preparing a surprise for Corvette fans.

Chevrolet Corvette published the first picture of the future Z06 the same day that Ford exposed the new Mustang. The rivalry between the two American sports cars brand is extending nearly five decades, but the brand from General Motors chose to present a teaser of the future Corvette instead of presenting a model like Camaro which is Mustang's traditional rival.
The debut of the new Corvette Z06 will officially take place in January at the Detroit Auto Show. Corvette was designed to deliver a level of performance comparable to that of a supercar due to the unique drive train, special chassis, and endowment aerodynamics, says General Motors to press in an official release attached to the teaser image of Corvette Z06. The teaser image itself does not reveal many details, but we can see a new model of alloy, carbon fiber side skirts, and a set of integrated vents in the front wings. A source from General Motors announces a V8 naturally aspirated by 7.0 liter, which will deliver around 600 HP.
