This concept car has been created in 1990, this being the same year when it has made its debut at the Detroit Motor Show. CERV stands for Chevrolet Experimental Racing Vehicle, this car having the highest tech options onboard, for those years.
The concept was powered by a V8 twin-turbo engine, with a capacity of 5.7 liters, installed in the mid position. It was able to produce 650 hp, connected to a 6 phase all-wheel-drive gearbox.
The chassis made out of carbon fiber and glass fiber ensured a lighter weight than other similar models in the same category.
CERV III has electronic art systems in its cabin, along with CRT screens and an active suspension, which was controlled by the board computer.
