Check Out The Latest Video Of The New 2022 Toyota Tundra

The teaser marketing for 2022 Toyota Tundra is still running great, with the automaker promising that the new truck will offer possibilities for adventure when it is officially introduced later this fall.

While that is still months away, the company has published a new interior video that shows the truck will have a sliding back window. A panoramic moonroof and red leather or SofTex seats with matching seat belts are also visible. There's not much else to look at, but the new 2022 Toyota Tundra has a contoured ceiling to let rear-seat passengers have more headroom. Speakers and microphones appear to be installed in the headliner, as well.

The new teaser expands on a previous teaser that suggested the truck would include a widescreen multimedia system and a perforated leather steering wheel with a red center stripe.

The outside design of the new 2022 Toyota Tundra was released last month, so it's hardly surprising. Toyota answered by releasing an official photograph of the Tundra TRD Pro, which sports a massive grille and an LED light bar. The pickup comes with LED headlamps, robust fenders, and a dramatic beltline. A-pillars that have been blacked out, rock rails, and black TRD wheels with large tires round out the characteristics.

Toyota has been mum on details, but officials have previously stated that 2022 Toyota Tundra will be available with two new engines. The entry-level engine is expected to produce “substantially” more power and torque than the existing 5.7-liter V8, which produces 381 hp (284 kW / 386 PS) and 401 lb-ft (544 Nm). It could be a variant of Land Cruiser's twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine, which produces 409 hp (305 kW / 415 PS) and torque of 479 lb-ft (650 Nm).

That, like the second powertrain, which is said to blow people away, remains to be seen. It's likely to be a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, given Toyota has already confirmed that it intends to introduce electrification to its pickup truck collection in the immediate future.
