Cadillac's Flying Car And Self-Driving Bus Concepts Will Influence Upcoming Designs

By the end of the decade, Cadillac intends to be a completely electric brand. Lyriq production is scheduled to begin early this year, with the Celestiq car following suit later in the year. In a recent interview with Automotive News, the business suggested where it will get design cues for those future cars.
The new Cadillacs will be styled after several recent concepts, including the single-passenger vertical take-off and landing car, the autonomous shuttle, and the self-driving all-electric coupe. Fully driverless vehicles will necessitate a rethinking of interior space as a critical component.
Customers want something drastically new from electric vehicles, according to Joe Baker, creative interior design manager for GM's advanced design team. To make a car feel modern and luxurious, automakers may have to do more than just add giant screens to the cabin. PersonalSpace, SocialSpace, and, most importantly, InnerSpace will all potentially influence those features at Cadillac.
Cadillac's InnerSpace concept aimed to create a premium autonomous vehicle with an exquisite and appealing interior. Cadillac made technology an important aspect of that concept, with Ai technologies that could customize the music, temperature, as well as other car settings. The car would be able to track your pulse rate and blood pressure and use that information to identify your mood and which vehicle settings you prefer.
While Cadillac may take inspiration from these concepts, none of them are likely to go into production. For the time being, they're a little too extreme for the road.
