C8 Corvette Is The First To Receive A C8RR Widebody Kit

Chevrolet announced that the all-new Corvette Z06, which will feature a flat-plane crank V8 engine and a widebody, will make its premiere this fall.
Sigala Designs has designed the world's first real widebody C8, for those who already possess a C8 Corvette Stingray and want to add some additional spice to the mid-engine sports vehicle. The widebody package, named the C8RR, is made up of 32 elements that give the C8 Corvette a supercar appeal.
The C8RR was first seen in drawings in May by Sigala Designs, and it looks way better in reality. The C8RR package comes with a redesigned hood with integrated carbon fiber vents and is available in fiberglass, carbon fiber, or a mix of both. The C8 Corvette has a more savage profile thanks to a noticeable front lip and expanded front bumper, which also extends the length of the sports auto.
The body package additionally expands the side skirts and side splitters, as well as widening the fenders. These upgrades, according to Sigala Designs, add 3 inches to the width of the C8 Corvette on both sides. A large high-rise wing and a massive diffuser with center-mounted exhaust pipes dominate the back. The suspension modifications were not completed in time for the C8RR's world premiere, therefore Sigala Designs plans to drop the ride height.
The C8RR, which will be delivered this fall, is already taking pre-orders through Sigala Designs. The whole fiberglass upgrade will cost you at least $14,995, while the carbon fiber version will cost you $24,995. Sigala Designs can also install larger 20x11.5-inch wheels with 305/25/20 tires or forged 20x13 wheels with 355/25/21 and 375/25/21 tires for an extra charge.
The powertrain has been left original because the C8RR body modification is primarily visual, thus the 6.2-liter V8 engine still delivers 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey Performance is developing a 1,200-hp performance package for the C8 Corvette Stingray if you prefer more power.
