Brabus is the most successful automaker who's never afraid to experiment and try to bring something new to the urban car market. Recently they launched its new limited-edition Brabus 92R. With a fair price and electric features, this one promises to be up to its expectation and be choice number one for a city driving EV experience with high class.

The new electric 92R will be limited to only 50 units and the prices will vary between $44,000 and $55,000, depending on the country you will buy it. German customers will pay the lowest price due to the EV subsidies that drop the price by $10,600. At the same time, the price could be even bigger, depending on the incentives.

The German automaker built its 92R based-on a Smart EQ Fortwo Cabrio and added more power to the electric motor, achieving a rating of 91 horsepower and a maximum of 180 Newton-meter of toque, outrating the previous stock model performances by 10 hp and 20 Nm of torque. Also, the limited top electrically speed is up to 81pmh (130 km/h) with the aid of a zero-lag power on tap. What seems like a small number performance is perfect for the small Brabus crossing the city roads.

Brabus is famous for successfully tuning their cars to extract more power from an electric vehicle's powertrains. Recently, its team of engineers, technicians, and programmers developed the PowerXtra performance upgrade for their three-phase synchronous motor. By that, the car gets a torque control system, new modules for its driving dynamics switch and accelerator pedal, and a bonus special gateway.

Available with four drive modes - Basic, Eco, Sport, and Sport+, each one is aimed to give you increased energy recuperation when lifting off the acceleration pedal or, sharper response during the energy recovery getting back to the factory settings. The full Brabus 92R experience is reached in Sport+ driving mode - you reach the 0-62mph (100km/h) in just10.9 seconds and a 78 miles(125 km) battery range on a single full charge.

City driving is a delightful experience with the new limited edition Brabus Electric Smart 92R. Are you ready for it?
