BMW & UBER reinvent the future of car releases!

UBER is an innovative transportation network where people use an app to request a ride from people that travel in their own cars. Not that they need it much, but in their desire to stay competitive they announced driverless rides in Tesla cars and now they partnered with BMW for a special project.
BMW and Uber were offering test rides in the new 2016 BMW 7 Series. The event lasted for a day, October 19th, and took place in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Chicago.
The drivers were BMW people that were driving the passengers while pitching them the new features of the 7 Series. The logic of such a promotional stunt is that the passengers that like or need to be driven (have a driver) will most likely decide to buy the car for their needs. The 2016 BMW 7 Series costs about $82,295.
This was an interesting promotion from BMW but we feel that they did not approach the prospective buyers with the right car. This luxury limo costs too much for people that use Uber to get to places. Something in the range of $35k would have been more suitable, we think!
