BMW iX M60 Will Make Its CES Debut With More Than 600 HP

With all the automotive news expected at CES next month, BMW will take advantage of the opportunity to debut the all-new BMW iX M60 and demonstrate a few other cutting-edge technologies. BMW claims to be working on a system that would let drivers modify the color of their car's exterior at the push of a button. A cutting-edge in-car movie theatre experience is also promised, according to the publication.
The carmaker will likely transform their Curved Display into a giant movie screen. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system make it feasible for this to happen.
However, BMW iX M60 will be the star, not the tech aspects that seem conceptual. The carmaker hasn't revealed much about the vehicle, but it will be the "first all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle from BMW M GmbH," according to prior reports.
BMW iX M60 will also feature over 600 hp (447 kW / 608 PS), which is a significant boost over the iX xDrive50's 516 hp (385 kW / 702 PS). This could allow for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) speed in less than 4.4 seconds, as well as a more aggressive appearance. To avoid any confusion, the 2022 BMW iX xDrive50 is depicted in these pictures.
