BMW i4 And iX Get A Revolutionary Augmented Reality Experience From BMW And Google
by AutoExpert | 2 March, 2022
For clients interested in the electric i4 and iX, BMW North America has teamed with Google Cloud to offer a comprehensive augmented reality experience. The augmented reality experience, which is as high-tech as the cars themselves, will enable users to instantly place the BMW i4 and iX in any real-world setting.
Customers can get a detailed look at "details like the fine leather grain and stitching in the interior of the BMW iX, vividly rendered via millions of polygons by Google Cloud's industry-leading computing technology" because BMW is maximizing Google Cloud's AR technology to bring the models to life in "photorealistic detail."
Users may switch paint colors to see what their perfect automobile might look like in their garage, and the fun doesn't end there. Customers can also adjust lighting and open and close doors as part of the process.
"We know that our new and existing customers expect unique and innovative campaigns for two of the most unique and innovative vehicles in our brand's history, and Google Cloud helped us create something very special to share with them," declared Albi Pagenstert, head of brand communications and strategy at BMW North America.
As a reminder, BMW i4 and iX will be available in the United States this spring.
