Bentley Continental GT3 made its debut in the previous weekend at the Festival of Speed at Goodwood.
The competition model is based on the Continental GT Speed, the fastest version of the second generation of Bentley Continental and it will start the race in the 2014 season, at the Blancpain Endurance championship, conducted by the FIA aegis.
The twin turbo V8 engine installed on the new Continental GT3 has a 4.0-liter displacement and develops 600 hp in racing configuration. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a sequential Xtrac six-speed transmission, a carbon fiber shaft drive and a limited slip differential.
The front and rear suspensions are incorporated with A class arms and they also have four-way adjustable dampers, while the steering system is hydraulically assisted.
The exterior stands out with OZ Racing wheels with a diameter of 18 inches, equipped with competitive tires that have a width of 310 millimeters; they are hiding a braking system which consists of ventilated disc for all the wheels whose calipers have six-piston for the front axle and respectively for the four-piston rear axle.
