Did you know that 8 different Batmobiles have been used during the shootings for the Batman Begins movie?
Four of these cars were actually drivable and even more, impressively fast! GM 350 V8 engines were powering them, allowing the cars to reach the first 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. The producers claimed that the maximum speed of the functional Batmobiles reached 220 miles per hour.
A Humvee and a Lamborghini Countach were the main sources of inspiration for the design, the result being a futuristic supercar.
