Audi Prologue Concept was presented for the first time to the public in November 2014 at the Auto Show in Los Angeles, and now the Germans surprise us again, announcing that Prologue gets a hybrid version!
Those from Audi presented at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas a hybrid version of the Prologue concept. The V8 engine of 597 hp remained present on the car just because it is now assisted by an electric unit due to which, the total power of the machine rose up to 668 hp. The torque increased from 750 to 950 Nm! Thanks to the power surplus and torque, the performances improved. Now the sprint from 0-100 km / h is achieved with 0.2 seconds faster, in other words in 3.5 seconds, while the CO2 emissions have fallen from 199g / km to 185g / km.
With the hybrid version, the Germans applied some minor aesthetic changes. The body is painted in a dark gray, the rims were changed and at the interior the designers were concerned with black upholstery leather, replacing the white one on some portions, thus giving them a different look at the concept presented in Los Angeles.
With these improvements, the Germans introduced the latest version of Audi Autonomous Driving Tech.
