Aston Martin Vyrinys Conceptualized By An Independent Designer

Andries van Overbeeke, a digital artist, has decided to design an Aston Martin coupe that fuses the old and the new. The car is named Vyrinys, which is Lithuanian for "human," in keeping with Aston Martin's "V" naming strategy. Both the classic DB4 GT Zagato and the modern-day Aston Martin Valkyrie served as inspiration for the car's sleek style.
Just as Aston combined the best of their V8 Vantage and Vulcan into the Victor, so did van Overbeeke with Aston Martin Vyrinys when merging the GT Zagato and Valkyrie.
The fender vents and wire wheels on the Vyrinys are derived from the DB4 as is the general contoured shape. Aston Martin Vyrinys inherits the Valkyrie's small abstract headlights as well as the classic Aston Martin grille.
In the rear, the appearance is more of a hybrid of the two vehicles than in the front. With only a tiny wrinkle to distinguish the bumper, it adheres to the car's general spherical design. A diffuser reminiscent of the Valkyrie tries to mix in well with the remainder of the rear end.
