Andy Palmer, Aston Martin's CEO, promises to launch an electric car, worthy of the name of the British brand that he rules. A power level between 800 and 1000 hp is presumed for the upcoming electric Aston Martin, and the maximum torque will be available instantly, which promises spectacular dynamic performances. The Aston Martin chief assures its clientele that the future electric models will comply with the brand's standards when it comes to elegance and performance, which will make the customers happy, but also the European Union and it is environmental standards.
Palmer will try to avoid as much as possible the global downsizing tendency, in the tentative to preserve the V12 engines in the Aston Martin offers. Thus, the independent brand shall make all that it is necessary so that a three-cylinder engine or other downsizing solutions are never launched. Paradoxically, the rivals from Ferrari, known for their stubbornness and wish for purity, have adopted a little downsizing strategy.
