Asahi Kasei AKXY2 Design Is A Revolutionary Living Room On Wheels
by AutoExpert | 26 May, 2022
For their 100th anniversary, Japan's Asahi Kasei has presented the AKXY2 concept car design. The exterior incorporates slim lighting components and aerodynamic wheel covers. The model is also equipped with S-SBR tires, which are constructed of bio-based butadiene.
An ottoman and two separate seats with Cubit cushions complete the cabin's modern look. Dinamica microfiber upholstery, a wooden table, and a display are also found inside. It's reasonable to presume that the design is intended to be completely autonomous because the design misses a steering wheel and pedals.
Additionally, the concept has been outfitted with the Healthy Car Portfolio of goods from the company. Antimicrobial materials and a CO2 sensor are two of the characteristics that make this concept stand out. Sustainable materials and semi-transparent fabrics complete the list of attractions.
The AKXY2 concept will be on display at several major events, including the North American International Auto Show and the Consumer Electronics Show.
