An Exclusive 230-Unit Run Of The Polestar 2 BST Is Currently On Sale

Polestar has announced that it will release an additional production run of the Polestar 2 BST Edition for Europe and North America in 2023, with a total of 230 units available. While the performance-focused EV powertrain and chassis setup remain unchanged from last year's model, this new batch offers customers a range of options for customizing the color, graphics, and interior materials of their vehicle.
The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 shares a striking resemblance to last year's BST Edition 270, with the only noticeable differences being the available color options and the grille insert that has been sourced from the recently facelifted Polestar 2.
It is worth noting that the SmartZone, which can be seen in the photos of the BST Edition 230, will be retrofitted to the vehicle once it has been approved, and the original front grille can be handed over to customers on request at no extra charge.
The Polestar 2 BST Edition now offers customers a choice between two new exterior colors: green Nebula or Space black. The matte black body stripe graphic with the number 2 on the bonnet is also optional for both color options. The black 21-inch alloy wheels exclusive to the BST Edition come standard, as do the gold-painted brake calipers.
The interior of the Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 has been upgraded with MicroSuede textile inserts for the seats and steering wheel, which are made from recycled Nubuck leather. The black-themed cabin also features gold seatbelts that add a striking contrast. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the Plus package that includes a panoramic glass roof and a premium Harman Kardon audio system, as well as the Pilot package with advanced safety features like Pilot Assist, pixel LED headlights, and four 360-degree cameras.
The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 retains the impressive performance specs of its predecessor, with the same dual electric motors producing 470 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque. The car can go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 127 mph. Despite the updated Polestar 2 having an 82 kWh battery, the BST edition 230 still uses the old 78 kWh battery, resulting in a range of 286 miles, just like the previous model.
Interested customers from Europe and North America can now place orders for the Polestar 2 BST Edition 230, which is limited to 230 units. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2023. The model is priced at €81,000 ($87,043) in Germany, while the optional matte black graphics would add €1,000 ($1,063) to the price.
