All-New Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 Has Been Unveiled

The new Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 is a limited-edition track-day special built to remember Manthey Racing's 25th anniversary.
It's modeled on the 991-generation 911 GT2 RS Clubsport from 2018, with a custom livery motivated by Grello - Manthey's vividly colored 911 GT3 R race car, which won the Nürburgring 24 Hours for the seventh time in June.
Only 30 units will be constructed, with prices starting at €525,000 (£447,000) without local taxes and deliveries beginning in January. Each will be powered by the same uprated 3.8-liter flat-six found in 2019's retro-look 935 track car, which will transmit 690 bhp to the back wheels via a seven-speed PDK automated transmission, as well as many race-inspired tweaks targeted at improving track performance.
The huge, centrally located radiator, for example, improves motor cooling at greater distances and is less susceptible to deterioration. There are now frontal winglets for increased downforce and the underbody is totally closed for maximum aero productivity.
Two massive vents on the front hood feed air over the double-bubble top to a sizable rear wing, which is mounted from above, just like the Porsche 911 GT3, for ultimate downforce over the back axle.
The Clubsport 25's distinctive headlight styling is a defining aspect of the limited edition, according to Porsche. Their four stripe pattern has been specially created for this vehicle and is reported to be especially efficient in lightening the track, as it was for the Manthey-run, Le Mans-winning 911 RSR.
Since the eponymous Olaf Manthey formed the racing team in 1996, Manthey and Porsche have had a tight partnership. From 2013, Porsche has controlled a 50 % share, and its impact has already spread to hard MR packages for the 911 GT2 RS and 911 GT3.
Manthey is well known for tweaking the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, which presently owns the Nürburgring production vehicle lap record of 6 min 43.3 secs. Manthey Racing managing director Nicolas Raeder remarked: “Whenever a modification is made, the technological function always takes precedence. As a result, the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 has its own personality, which matches our brand ideals of being simple, thorough, versatile, and uncompromising.”
