Alfa Romeo Tonale Fans, Get Ready!

It was recently revealed that the Alfa Romeo Tonale would be unveiled on February 8, 2022. It's been over 3 years since the concept debuted at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. A new teaser video uploaded by the brand's official Twitter account provides us with some hints.
The 13-second video starts with the famous Trefoil grille, which is highlighted by a pair of LED DRLs that give the tiny crossover a furious look. The digital instrument cluster with the brand's insignia and a piece of the steering wheel is then revealed.
The multi-functional Cannocchiale cluster is housed in this car's driver-centric cockpit layout, according to the tweet. As far as we can tell, the Tonale will be a significant product for Alfa Romeo, particularly in the United States, where the company's present range of vehicles hasn't met expectations.
Alfa Romeo Tonale is projected to use a turbocharged 1.3-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to deliver a total of 240 hp. It will be the company's first plug-in hybrid vehicle, establishing the path for future electrified vehicles.
Why has the carmaker taken so long to showcase the final product after revealing the concept 3 years ago? That's simple. Jean-Phillippe Imparato, the CEO of the company, wasn't happy with the first production-ready Alfa Romeo Tonale he saw in April. The biggest problem, he claimed, was with the PHEV system, which he stated lacked adequate performance.
