2025 BMW M4 Unveils Awesome Upgrades
by AutoExpert | 31 January, 2024
The M4 and M4 convertible are getting a dramatic upgrade for the 2025 model year from BMW, which is taking cues from the revamped 4-Series. All eyes will be on the M4 Competition xDrive versions, though, because they're getting a whopping 20 hp boost, bringing the top-tier M4's power output up to 523 hp.
Strangely, despite a noticeable increase in power, the coupe's and other all-wheel-drive variants' 3.4-second sprint to 60 mph has remained the same. Those who enjoy the intimate relationship between driver and machine will be happy to hear that the M4's six-speed manual gearbox is still available.
The changes are subtle but noticeable when we shift our focus to the outside. The new headlights are an improvement over the old ones, as they combine the low and high beams into one LED module. The rear taillights use laser technology, which was taken from the limited-edition BMW M4 CSL, and it looks just breathtaking.
On the trunk, you can see the meticulous attention to detail: the M emblem now has a silver border, and the roundel surrounds are glossy black. M forged light-alloy wheels are an extra available option, and a new set of M design graphics for the trunk lid and hood further enhance the overall appeal.
Inside, the 2025 M4 has a fresh new look. Modern standard-issue steering wheels include a flatter base, altered spokes, and a bold red 12-o'clock strip. A new level of opulence has been added to this design with the debut of gripping Alcantara. Alterations to the inside include new basic trim with a matte black graphite finish and an optional polished aluminum finish.
Still, the curved screen continues to be the showpiece. It runs on BMW's operating system 8.5 and uses fewer physical buttons to make the inside look cleaner. Modern and elegant touches abound in the cockpit, such as the revamped instrument panel, enhanced ambient lighting, and new toggles for the dashboard HVAC vents.
Starting at $79,100 for the standard coupe, the 2025 BMW M4 range is perfect for individuals who are watching their budgets. Further up the price spectrum, we find the M4 Competition xDrive Coupe at $88,300 and the M4 Competition Coupe at $83,200. At $95,300, you can get your hands on the top-of-the-line M4 Competition xDrive Convertible.
The 2025 BMW M4 is going to be released in March of that year, and it will be a thrilling update for drivers thanks to its innovative technology, plush interior, and performance.
