The 2025 3-Series is the next iteration of BMW's best-selling sedan. It has a more modern appearance, a more comfortable interior, and cutting-edge technology. To begin, the 2025 3-Series comes in a new color palette that includes two new BMW Individual colors, Frozen Pure Grey metallic and Frozen Portimao Blue metallic, in addition to the previously announced Arctic Race Blue and Vegas Red metallic.

New 19-inch M alloy wheels with a two-tone or Jet Black finish and a double-spoke design are available on vehicles equipped with the M Sport package, which is standard on the M340i, in addition to the new colors. The new BMW Individual Y-spoke alloy wheels measure 19 inches and are available on all trim levels.

Inside, the driver will notice a redesigned steering wheel and cascade lighting incorporated into the molding around the updated air vents in the center. Customers have the option to choose from nine different colors and customize the brightness to their liking. Additionally, BMW said that there are animations for greetings and farewells, along with "light signals indicating certain scenarios, such as an incoming phone call or an open door."

The 330i has now been refreshed to have standard Fineline Light open-pore wood trim and the M340i to have M Aluminum Rhombicle. Customers also have the option of open-pore wood trim in Ash Grey or Aluminum Fine Brushed, and the M340i comes with carbon fiber trim. Customers can also opt for Galvanic controls, an enhanced Sensatec dashboard, unique luster window switches, door lock buttons, and air vent adjustment stalks.

Additionally, BMW Operating System 8.5 now powers the revamped infotainment system. The latter has an upgraded menu system, a redesigned home screen, and easier navigation. An augmented view feature, easier temperature settings, enhanced navigation, and a widget bar that you can personalize are also available. Under the hood, the 2025 M340i retains the same modern upgrades as before, including a brand new 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine with a 48V mild hybrid system that delivers more precise power while using less fuel.

It has 398 lb-ft of torque and 386 horsepower, which is 29 lb-ft more than before. With all-wheel drive, the vehicle can go from zero to sixty miles per hour in as little as 4.1 seconds because of the engine's eight-speed automatic gearbox. The vehicle may reach a maximum electronically regulated speed of 155 mph if the driver maintains a planted foot.

Additionally, the 330i's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder has undergone some modifications, including new combustion chambers and intake ports, as well as innovations in the areas of camshaft control, injection, ignition system, and exhaust gas routing. The soft hybrid powertrain's output of 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque has not changed despite the modifications.

BMW concluded by saying the sedan's updated chassis tuning "further enhances the balance between sporting capability and comfort." The business didn't reveal much, but they did say that the model had firmer mounts connecting the rear dampers to the body, which is a plus. BMW announced the ability to adjust the steering system for reduced effort in Comfort mode.

2025 BMW 3-Series

Mexico will manufacture models meeting US specifications this August, with a worldwide debut scheduled for July. When it hits US showrooms, the base price of the 3-Series will be $45,500. With a base price of $59,600, the M340i is $2,000 more expensive than its predecessor, which is a $1,000 increase.
