The 2025 Audi Q5 will represent a bold new step for the brand with fresh design, state-of-the-art technology, and a range of more efficient engines. Based on Audi's innovative Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), the latest Q5 features a dynamic mix of style and performance tailored to U.S. and European markets.
The new Audi Q5 has a completely redesigned exterior that now looks more sophisticated and cleaner in its muscular aesthetic balance. Its advanced lighting technology further underscores its highly modern aesthetics, with highlights including digital OLED taillights that adapt to different driving scenarios and Matrix LED headlights that offer customizable daytime running light patterns.
Also, the new Q5 has a lot of options in the powertrain department. As for the U.S., the range starts with a 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine capable of producing 268 hp, while the sporty SQ5 comes with a 3.0-liter TFSI six-cylinder pushing out 362 hp. All engines, including petrol and diesel, in the European model now feature mild-hybrid technology.
Inside, the Q5 is much roomier and techier than before, as it now features a curvy screen where an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch MMI infotainment system run on Android Automotive OS. The switch to touch-sensitive controls didn't result in an increase in complexity; instead, it preserved luxury and intuitiveness and added extras like a wireless phone charger and potent USB-C ports.
Improved suspension and steering systems for the Q5 are expected to further enhance the ride and agility. While the standard models feature Frequency Selective Dampers, the SQ5 boasts a sportier suspension setup for a more dynamic driving experience.
Pricing for the U.S. is not yet available, but in Europe, it ranges from €52,300 for the entry-level Q5 to €82,900 for the more powerful SQ5.
