2025 Alpina XB7 Manufaktur Is A Luxury SUV With New Wheels, Enhanced Leather, And More Choices
by AutoExpert | 14 August, 2024
For 2025, Alpina has introduced a Manufaktur-branded version of the XB7 with some luxurious upgrades. The beloved SUV now features new wheels, additional leather options, and even more customization choices. The BMW Alpina XB7 made its debut in 2020 and underwent a significant overhaul in 2022.
The 2025 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur is based on the latter, although luxury SUV purchasers like its added amenities. Updates to the outside include a bigger rear diffuser and new 23-inch Alpina Classic forged wheels finished in aluminum satin.
The bodywork comes in Alpina Blue, Alpina Green II, and other BMW Individual colors. When paired with Black Line or Aluminium Satin Line trims, they offer black or glossy exterior and interior highlights. The BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur comes standard with extended leather inside, but the Lavalina full leather interior stands out. To cut, divide, and sew 427 leather pieces takes almost 100 hours of physical work.
Custom embossing and stamping are available for upholstery. Two matching leather Alpina weekenders are also available. The center console has a production plaque and floor mats with Manufaktur logos. The European-market variant has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with 612 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Since the makeover, the US version has produced 630 horsepower.
All four wheels receive power from an 8-speed automatic transmission, BMW's xDrive technology, and an electrically controlled rear limited-slip differential. Compared to the BMW X7, the Alpina XB7 has sportier air suspension settings that automatically drop at greater speeds, quicker steering, and a standard high-performance braking system with bigger perforated brake discs and blue calipers.
Alpina has built 2,880 XB7s, including 550 for Europe, since its introduction. The official configurator lists the 2025 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur for €190,500 ($208,047) in Germany. The first model deliveries are scheduled in March 2025.
