The 2024 Toyota RAV4 is coming with some updates that should pique interest. Starting at $28,475 for the LE FWD trim, it is a $900 bump from the previous version.
On the higher end, the Limited e-AWD hybrid trim will now set you back $39,780, an increase of $1,250 from the 2023 model. The Woodland Edition e-AWD, making a return, now starts at $34,695, marking a $1,670 increase from the previous model.
In terms of new offerings, the Woodland Edition for 2024 now offers a Weather Package, bringing in heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers with a de-icer function. What's catching the eye this time is the introduction of two-tone color options, allowing you to mix Army Green or Ice Cap with a Midnight Black Metallic roof.
Alternatively, you can opt for a single-tone Midnight Black for a subtle look. The Woodland Edition gets an aesthetic boost with 18-inch bronze TRD alloy wheels and Falken Wildpeak A/T tires, paired with a tuned TRD suspension tailored for off-road adventures.
Under the hood, the RAV4 hybrids, including the Woodland Edition, continue with the reliable 2.5-liter four-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine and Toyota Hybrid System II. This combination delivers a combined 219 hp and an EPA-estimated 37 MPG, ensuring both power and efficiency. For those opting for the internal combustion-only variants, expect a combined 30 MPG from the same 2.5-liter engine.
On the technology front, RAV4 offers a range of touchscreen options (7, 10.5, or 12.3 inches) with over-the-air update capability, voice assistant, cloud navigation, and a new Integrated Streaming feature. This feature allows drivers to connect their personal Apple Music or Amazon Music subscriptions to the vehicle for easy access to their favorite tunes on the move.
In terms of safety, the RAV4 comes with a suite of advanced driver assistance technology and safety features, including a rear-seat reminder—a thoughtful addition. The 2024 Toyota RAV4 is expected to make its way to dealerships later this year.
