2023 Peugeot e-208 Gains 20 HP And 24 Miles Per Charge

Peugeot has given the 2023 e-208 a nice increase in electric driving range and enhanced the power of the compact electric vehicle. The EV's exterior hasn't changed, but the 2023 model benefits from the same updated components seen in the e-308.
This results in far more attractive specs. Power has been increased from 134 horsepower to 154 horsepower thanks to a new, more powerful electric motor, but torque has remained the same at 191 pound-feet.
Peugeot has not yet released official performance data for the new model, but knowing that the outgoing model could sprint to 62 mph in 8.1 seconds—the quickest of the lineup—we anticipate that the 2023 Peugeot e-208 will fall into the seven-second range.
In addition to the improved electric motor, the 2023 Peugeot e-208 also benefits from a new, more efficient battery pack that increases the electric driving range to 248 miles. That's an increase of 24 miles compared to the automobile from the previous year. The battery in the e-208 can be charged from 0 to 80 percent using a public charger in only 25 minutes. A 7.4 kW charger is standard, although a three-phase 11 kW version is also available.
