Allspace added lettering next to the famous 2022 VW Tiguan speaks all about that elonged wheelbase, especially for the European market. Still, the model has just joined the Volkswagen family all along with other Tiguans produced for the US market, especially North America. It’ll be known there just as Tiguan, no names needed.

So, what does a long wheelbase mean? Well, a plentitude of positive upgrades that are pretty visible at a closer look. For sure, you’ll instantly notice the new exterior design, new interior design once you take a seat inside, new tech, new colors, and many others. Despite being just an update for the European market demands you’ll still get to enjoy the same engine.

The longer Tiguan’s visual updates are limited to the front and the rear of the model.  For the car’s front, the biggest update in the form of new headlights opting for new LED light signatures, mostly similar to the Mk8 Golf. Another striking change is the lightbar running across the grille in higher trim models, which appear to be inspired by the high-end Golfs.

In the European version, VW updated the new Tiguan Allspace with IQ.Lights that feature optional matrix LED technology. These units consist of 24 LEDs per headlight module and can project light onto different parts of the road. The coolest one is that the light signatures can also move from side to side when you’re signaling.

The back also brings its surprises. There are new taillights featuring their own modern design. Here comes the VW’s new 4Motion badge and the “Tiguan” badge under the Volkswagen emblem. Volkswagen improves even the R-Line trim giving it a more aggressive look along with an improved bumper design, piano-black inserts, and chrome accents.

A promised before, the European and North American customers will get the Tiguan Allspace with two new colors. Meet the Kings Red and Oryx White joining the total of eight colors to choose from. Also, VW allows its customers to get optional wheel choices -from 17-inches on the lowest trim to 20-inches on the highest trim.
