2022 Toyota Prius Completes The New Nightshade Edition With A Plentitude Of Features

The Prius Nightshade pack is extended with another 2022 Toyota Prius as part of the automaker’s new special edition. Its features vary starting with black trim and continue with three different exterior colors available.

It’s available in Midnight Black Metallic, Silver Metallic or Super White exterior colors ensure the dark accents’ visibility applied to the headlamps, side mirror casings, door handles, deck spoiler, and shark fin antenna. Also, there are optional 15-inch alloy wheels equipping the AWD-e specifications or the 17-inch wheels offered on the FWD that also feature the mentioned dark accents.

The special edition Prius will be powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine combined with two electric motors, coupled to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) channel. Available with a front-wheel-drive system variant the vehicle has an EPA ranked at 100 km range in city/highway/combined, while the all-wheel-drive system returning the same distance.

The interior also has some upgrades, starting with a SoftTex upholstery, semi-gloss and chrome trim, electrically adjustable front seats with heating for the driver, and a heated steering wheel. The dashboard presents a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system is offered as standard, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration and Amazon Alexa compatibility.

As a bonus, the 2022 Toyota Prius comes with a three-month trial subscription for SiriusXM, a one-year trial for the Toyota Safety Connect, a 10-year trial for the Service Connect, and the Wi-Fi Connect with up to 2GB for three months, are also included. Additionally, the 2022 Prius Nightshade Edition gets an auxiliary jack, 12V outlet and three USB ports, wireless charging pad for compatible devices, voice recognition, Bluetooth, Siri Eyes Free, a three-door smart key system with push-button start, and a 4.2-inch multi-info display for the driver.

Other features are the lane departure alert, dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision system allowing low-light pedestrian detection, bicyclist detection, automatic high beams, while the road sign assist is part of the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 pack. Would you like to drive one of these?
