2022 Range Rover Velar Receive A Fresh Set Of Design And Tech Choices
by AutoExpert | 20 August, 2021
Today, Land Rover announced the addition to the 2022 Range Rover Velar of a new range of design and technology options. Included are a new edition, fresh colors, and an up-to-date air purifying system for the cabin.
The Range Rover Velar Auric Edition is titled after the Latin "Aurum" which is a gold standard starting from the new limited-edition vehicle. The term is a reference to the special exterior finishes of the Auric Atlas, which are on the grille, insignias, the hood, doors, and front slopes.
The Auric Edition is available in three external colors based on Velar R-Dynamic S trim: Ostuni Pearl White, Santorini Black, and Charente Grey, the latter being designated for the AuricEdition only. In the meantime, the alloy wheels are 20-inch and finished in Sparkle Silver with Mercurial gloss, although pincer wheels of 22 inches can be chosen. Glass privacy completes the appearance.
The SUV's whole line of 4 and 6-cylinder engines and a P400e hybrid plug-in drive train with a driving distance of 53 km is available. This Velar Auric Edition is provided by the Range Rover Velar.
Even if they do not decide to get the Auric Edition of the Range Rover Velar, the SV Bespoke Premium Palette offers buyers new external design alternatives. Tourmaline Brown, Amethyst-Grey Purple, and Petrolix Blue are also additional options. SV Bespoke also provides customers with a color matching service that allows them to build their own unique paint, if not one of those interesting.
The Pivi and Pivi Pro Land Rover infotainment systems provide vivid graphics and super-fast reactions, but they do not yet offer Apple or Android wireless CarPlay. But thanks to the system's over-air update feature, that is likely to change. Customers can upgrade the infotainment systems of their automobiles to incorporate smartphone wireless interfaces. Before the end of 2021, both are available simultaneously.
Cabin air quality sensors from Range Rover Velar detect if CO2 levels exceed and scrub them off above acceptable levels. In addition to the interior comfort of the SUV, a new PM2.5 filtration technology will feature. Indoor and external air quality sensors are included in the Cabin Air Purification Plus system. The air quality can also be monitored and cleaned with a push of a button.
Land Rover has decided to enhance the portfolio of advanced driver assistance technologies from Range Rover Velar. A rear camera is now available as standard and adaptive control of the cruise with guidance that helps drivers on extended travels.
Range Rover Velar Prices begin at £45,925 ($62,710). Meanwhile, the Auric Edition is officially on sale and prices start in Germany at €70,085 ($81,869).
