2022 Chevrolet Silverado Gets Two Limited-Run Variants With 850 HP
by AutoExpert | 15 October, 2021
Specialty Vehicle Engineering has just introduced two new vehicles based on the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado. The 850 HP Yenko/SC Silverado Off-Road is built on crew cab and double cab models of the normal Silverado and is the more powerful of the two.
The second variant, the 850 HP Yenko/SC Silverado Lowered, is offered in crew cab and double cab LT, RST, LTZ, and high country versions. Both 2022 Chevrolet Silverado variants include a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 850 hp and 800 lb-ft (1,084 Nm) of torque.
Forged aluminum pistons, a forged twisted steel crankshaft, and CNC-ported cylinder heads are just a few of the notable upgrades. A computer-balanced rotating assembly, stainless steel headers, and high-flow catalytic converters are also available from SVE. The conventional eight-speed automatic gearbox of the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado has also been improved.
The Yenko/SC Silverado Off-Road variant has a 4-inch lift front and rear for off-road performance. Custom emblems, composite tailgate, and HD Recoil traction bars are also included. The Yenko/SC Silverado Lowered, on the other hand, comes with distinctive 6-spoke 22-inch wheels, a redesigned graphics kit, sports suspension that lowers the truck by 2-inches in the front and 5-inches in the back, a wider diameter back sway bar, and a dark tonneau covering.
Both vehicles come with a limited warranty of three years or 36,000 miles. Although no pricing information has been released, we do know that just 50 units of each 2022 Chevrolet Silverado variant will be produced.
