2021 Ford F-150 Raptor Hennessey Upgrade: A Whopping 600 HP!
by AutoExpert | 15 October, 2021
With the debut of the extensively modified truck based on the new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 enters its third generation.
The truck's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 will be enhanced with an improved air induction system, a greater intercooler unit with a blow-off valve, and a refreshed motor system management, according to the tuning business.
Hennessey will also add new intercooler piping to the Ford F-150 Raptor, helping it to produce 600 hp at 6,000 rpm and 622 lb-ft (843 Nm) of torque at 4,000 rpm. The tuner is aiming for a 4.2-second 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time and a 12.9-second quarter-mile time at 110 mph (177 km/h), which are quite similar to the Ram 1500 TRX's performance estimates.
Clients will have access to a variety of different enhancements. Hennessey, for example, has designed new front and rear bumpers with incorporated LED lights, as well as unique 20-inch wheels with 37-inch off-road tires, a suspension leveling kit, and customized badging. Buyers can also have huge six-piston Brembo front brake calipers installed on their trucks.
With the base F-150 Raptor, the 2021 Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 starts at $85,950. Hennessey, on the other hand, thinks the typical consumer will pay about $110,000. Right now, order books are open, and the first shipments will begin in early 2022.
