Ducati is a well-known Italian motorcycle manufacturer. What you may not know is that the company had a fantastic financial year in 2022, with revenues of €1.089 billion, a 24% rise over the previous year's sales of €878 million.
How, you ask? Ducati's success is attributed to its strong performance in both the racing and the market, as it managed to deliver 61,562 motorcycles, surpassing the 60,000-unit milestone for the first time. Additionally, the company is delighted to have won the MotoGP and World Superbike championships in 2022.
Furthermore, Claudio Domenicali, the CEO of Ducati, says that the company's success is due to a number of things, such as its success in MotoGP and WorldSBK, its great sales performance, and its strong financial growth over the past few years.
Ducati's CFO, Henning Jens, also expressed his delight at reporting the company's best financial results ever and its continued rise in profitability.
As a result of its continued success, Ducati has also expanded its dealer network to an all-time high of 821 locations by the end of 2022. New dealers have recently opened in Brunei, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Mongolia, among other places. Now, Ducati is ready for another successful year, as the company has released eight new models, including the Multistrada V4 Rally, the Diavel V4, and the second-generation Scrambler.
