What has a power of 133,000 HP and a speed of 1000 mph?

Yet another SSC "Super Sonic cars" is trying to take on the world's speed record. This time it is the Bloodhound SSC and it is a rocket/jet-propelled car powered by 3 engines that produce about 133,151 horsepower. They give you a perspective, that is about 100 times more than a Koenigsegg One:1 produces (1,300 HP).
The process is divided into 2 parts. First, a Rolls Royce EJ200 turbofan engine (the one that powers the Eurofighter Typhoon jets) will take it to about 650 mph. Secondly, a hybrid rocket combined with Jaguars 5.0-liter supercharged V8 which acts as a pump will do the rest. The Jag's engine will siphon about 800 liters of HTP to the rocket with a rate of 40 l/s.
The pilot, Andy Green which already holds a land speed record of 763 mph will attempt to break it and reach 1,000 mph in 2017.
However, you can still watch the Bloodhound SSC in action in Newquay, the UK where it will do a test run of max 200 mph.
