Volvo is worried about of the cyclists' security. See what solutions the Swedes propose! (VIDEO)

The fair of the newest technologies, CES 2015, The Swedish from Volvo promised to surprise us with a new revolutionary system designed to increase the safety of cyclists in traffic.
This system is already implemented on the company's new SUV, XC90 and is capable to detect the presence of a cyclist, alert, emergency and even to brake independently. However Volvo wants to take the technology much further and for that appealed to its partners.
Along with a company producing headphones (POC) and together with Ericsson, Volvo wants to revolutionize everything we know about active safety. The new system will use a headset identifying the position of the rider and these data are transmitted to the car. If an impending collision is detected, then both the driver and rider are warned. Moreover, the system works even when the rider is in the blind spot.
Bendrik Klas, Vice Swedish group said it is vital to be able to build a car that will not get in any accidents. "Now, the system is able to further reduce the blind spots of the cars and bicycles, thus avoiding collisions."
