Volvo Gets Rid of Turbo Lag for Instant Acceleration.

The idea is that let's say you're driving at a normal speed and find a slow driver in front of you.
You hit the gas pedal to accelerate and then up you're wasting 1-2 seconds waiting while the turbo pressure builds up!
Apparently, the Swedes from Volvo hate that and had already found a solution. It is called PowerPulse technology. Let not the term scare you as this is a very simple solution. Volvo simply added an electric air compressor and an air storage tank. As the driver hits the gas, the air is sent to exhaust manifold and spools up the turbos, which grants instant acceleration.
