The sprint from zero to 200km/h in a Volvo XC90 new generation!

Volvo threatens the premium SUV class and its "players" such as BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz ML, or Range Rover Sport. The domination of those three may suffer badly once the new XC90 will firmly enter this segment.
To compete on equal terms, the Swedish-Chinese need a tidy formula, with a vast arsenal of options, features, and enviable technical parameters. Well, Volvo is very well versed in security, an asset won and consolidated years in a row. Another very important criterion is the engine and Volvo has it covered with the new generation of four-cylinder turbo-aspirated engines.
Volvo is also very confident in the design and quality of materials of the new XC90! Under the hood, they got a 2.0-liter diesel engine from the Drive-E range, which puts out around 225 horsepower and about 470 Nm of torque available from 1,750 r/m! The sprint from zero to a hundred takes only 7.8 seconds which is not so bad considering that the new Volvo XC90 weighs just over two tons! For comparison, BMW X5 xDrive25d does the same in 8.2 seconds!
