The next Mazda MX-5 will be launched in the coming months!

The most popular roadster in history, Mazda MX-5, is preparing for an exchange of generations. The Japanese model will provide a survivor place later this year, the showrooms scheduled to start the trading in 2015.
The fourth generation of the Japanese model will use a slight platform developed by Mazda SKYACTIV after the new principles. Using many elements from aluminum the rear-drive platform will accommodate a light body, modeled after the Kodo design philosophy, Mazda3 and Mazda6 are already recovered.
The list of the engines will be 1.5-liter normally aspirated engine, SKYACTIV-G already found under the hood of Mazda3. It delivers 100 horses and 150 Nm. Even if the resources are not very generous, the unit promises to take revenge enviable efficiency, taking the example of its compact brother, which manages to beat even the turbo engines of smaller displacement.
Mazda will offer a generous engine, a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G modified to produce more than 150 horsepower. The official debut will coincide with the anniversary of 25 years since the introduction of the first Mazda MX-5.
