Jeremy Clarkson, the former introducer of Top Gear motoring show, will become the highest-paid in the UK! This owes new TV project about the automotive world, bringing together Clarkson, Hammond and May.
The British tabloid Mirror, citing its own sources, claims that Jeremy Clarkson will win this year around 10 million pounds, the equivalent of 15 million dollars and his colleagues Richard Hammond and James May - will receive 7.2 million pounds. Under the agreement recently signed with the Amazon for each episode of the new show car, Clarkson will receive a budget of 4.5 million pounds (about 7 million). For each series of the new car show, Clarkson will receive about 800 thousand pounds, while his producer Andy Wilman - 600 thousand.
Clarkson, Hammond and May have signed an employment contract with Amazon at the end of July this year. This happened four months after Jeremy was suspended from Top Gear and left the BBC, and the contract is for three years.
The budget for the new show car is estimated at 160 million pounds (250 million dollars) and is scheduled for broadcast since 2016. It will be published as part of a bonus program from the service Amazon Prime Instant Video. Access to it in the UK costs 79 pounds per year in the US and Europe - 99 dollars and 49 Euros, respectively.
